Lady Eagles Go 2-1 @ Nocona Tournament
The Lady Eagles competed at the Nocona Tournament Saturday in the 7th grade division. Montague went 2-1 on the day, losing a close game to Windthorst 32-34 to start the tournament. Montague then went on to beat Holliday 40-10 and Era 63-5. Paige Davis averaged 28 points per game, 13 rebounds and 4 assists per game during the tourney to lead the Lady Eagles. In 3 games Maddyn Bowles scored 20 points, handed out 6 assists and snagged 9 steals. Lynlee Coffman also scored 20 points in the 3 games to go with 24 rebounds. Jaelyn Rodriguez scored 8 points while Maddie Travis scored a bucket to go with 11 rebounds and 8 steals. Trinity Hudson also scored 2 points during the tournament.
Montague is now 4-1 on the season and will travel to Gold-Burg after the Thanksgiving break.
