Volleyball Beats Bowie and Saint Jo
The Montague Lady Eagles ended another successful volleyball season by avenging an earlier loss Monday night at Saint Jo. The Lady Eagle's white team beat Saint Jo in a 3 set thriller 23-25, 25-21, 15-12. Montague's blue team then also won their game 16-25, 25-15, 15-12.
The previous week Montague hosted both of Bowie's A teams for their annual pink out game. Montague won the 7th grade game 25-13, 25-11 then went on to beat the 8th grade 25-15, 25-14.
Montague's white team ends the season 13-4 and ended on a 7 game winning streak while the blue team ended 7-1. Montague will graduate 7 8th graders: Lily Hamilton, Avaree Woodyard, Laura Hudson, Emma Read, Macklyn Pittman, Raylea Bowles and Gentry Gray.
Montague will begin their basketball season by hosting Prairie Valley on November 10th beginning with the girls at 6, followed by the boys.
