Montague hosted their annual 8th grade night Monday night as they hosted Saint Jo. Montague will graduate their biggest 8th grade class ever with 20 students. 10 of them will attend Nocona HS, 4 Bowie, 2 Saint Jo, 3 Gold-Burg and 1 to Bellevue. The Lady Eagles came away with a 43-6 win as Emma Read led the Lady Eagles with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Paige Davis contributed 12 points and 6 steals while Aubree Kleinhans had 10 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 5 steals.  Other contributors to the victory were Tinley Cable with 4 points, 5 assists, 7 rebounds and 8 steals, Chloe Broussard 3 points, and Bayler Smith 2 points. Montague moves to 7-0 in district play and 12-1 overall. 

The boys walked away with a 38-23 victory over Saint Jo as Caden Belcher and Karson Kleinhans led in scoring with 13 points a piece. Hunter Parr and Brady Moore each had 4, and Cooper Johnson and Walker Stahan each had a basket. Montague moves to 7-0 and will travel to Gainesville Saturday for a tournament, taking on Era first at 9:00.
