Volleyball Ends Season
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Montague Lady Eagles ended their winning season Monday night as they traveled to Nocona. Montague won against their 7th grade team 25-4, 25-9. Montague then saw their undefeated season come to an end against the Nocona 8th grade team as they lost in a very exciting match 27-29, 25-18, 14-16. Montague only played 2 8th graders in the 8th grade game so the future is bright for Montague Volleyball!
Outstanding stats for the 2 matches combined: Kaygan Stone 7 digs, 19 kills; Railey Martin 6 aces, 10 digs, 4 kills; Tinley Cable 4 kills, 17 assists; Aubree Kleinhans 5 aces (serving a perfect 24/24), 6 digs, 7 kills, 15 assists; Ava Johnson 5 aces (serving a perfect 21/21), 7 digs, 5 kills; Bayler Smith 8 digs; Lexi Romine 2 digs; Raylea Bowles 2 kills.
Other team members for the 20-21 season include 8th graders Maloree Woodyard and Lillie Smith and 6th graders Brylie Hager, Emma Read, Chloe Broussard, Laura Hudson and manager Kaylie Duncan.
Montague ends their season 12-1 and will begin basketball November 9th @ Gold-Burg.
