Montague Wins 2nd Place at Bowie Tournament
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Montague Lady Eagles made a good showing at the Bowie Tournament Saturday the 9th as they came away as Runners-up in the 7th grade division. Montague started the early morning out beating Henrietta 25-16, 25-15, then Millsap 25-22, 25-20, then Nocona 25-17, 25-16 before falling in the championship game to a really good Boyd team 23-25, 15-25. Montague also traveled to Wichita Christian on Thursday the 7th and won 25-9, 25-15. Outstanding stats from the 5 games Combined: Aces- Maddyn Bowles- 18 (on 94% serving), Paige Davis- 12, Digs- Davis- 18, Bowles and Maddie Travis 12 each, Blocks- Jaelyn Rodriguez- 1, Kills- Davis- 32 (on .39 kill %), Rodriguez- 13, Assists- Bowles- 45, Travis- 24.
Montague will host Saint Jo starting at 5 on Monday the 11th.
