Montague Basketball Working Hard

The Montague girls and boys basketball teams have been hard at work the past few weeks. The Lady Eagles were defeated by Forestburg 55-40, defeated Midway 36-20 and got beat by Prairie Valley 48-26. CJ Hamilton led scoring for all 3 games with 49 points; Summer Kennedy had 38, McKenzie Simpson 7, Jessica Reeves 6 and Mariah Pennington 2.
The boys have played hard but were defeated by Forestburg 41-15, Midway 46-28 and PV 54- 20. Cameron Agnes and Tristan Parr led the Eagles with 22 points a piece; Ty Debord contributed 9 points, DJ Smith 8 and Mitchell Eldred 3.
Montague will host their annual tournament this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
