Wind Powered !

Region 9 put on an extra learning opportunity for students that are interested in Science. They targeted students in the fourth grade and taught those students about the future of alternative energy. After learning some background information the students were asked to create a car that is powered by wind energy. The students only had 45 min. and a certain list of materials they could use.
Students from Montague created a great car and it traveled a distance of five feet and four inches. They won the competition for the car that traveled the greatest distance.
