The Montague School Fall Festival was a huge success last Friday night, October 17. A big crowd turned out to support Montague School and students. A total of $3000.00 was raised thanks to school personnel, students, parents, and the many Bowie, Montague and Nocona businesses that gave their time, donations, and monetary support toward the effort. The “activity” proceeds generated from this yearly fund raiser is used for school field trips, school parties, library books, and teacher resources. Part of the festival included a pumpkin decorating contest and then the winners are auctioned off at the festival. The auction brought in over $700.
